From Eater SF/Eater National comes an incredible composite photo and a crucial DVR alert for tonight, as Alice Waters pulls up to the discussion table on HBO's Real Time with Bill Maher.

Admittedly, we probably wouldn't have made too much of an effort to tune in were it not for Maher's other two planned guest panelists, and the likely exciting combustion the combo should spark. Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong and comedian Chris Rock should all but ensure that this isn't too much of a soapbox moment for Waters.

In case you forget, the episode will re-air over the weekend and will also likely be archived for a short time through HBO's On Demand service.

Dan Deacon opened the show to a happily surprised early audience and got the crowd actively dancing and warmed up. DEVO was originally on the bill to support Arcade Fire but a kayak accident last week had sidelined lead singer Mark Mothersbaugh and the duration of the west coast leg of the tour. Win Butler did a homage to DEVO by performing Uncontrollable Urge.
