Our favorite morsel from the blogs.

Foodbuzz is pitting blogger against blogger in Project Food Blog, a series of 10 challenges designed to test contestants' skills: cooking, photography, writing. There are 1,889 blog-testants for the challenge that started Monday and lasts 12 weeks. You can sign up for Foodbuzz, and vote for your favorites, though, like So You Think You Can Dance or something, ultimate scoring is in the hands of three judges: Food & Wine's Dana Cowin (the icy, elfin editor who turns up on Top Chef), Nancy Silverton, and Chez Pim's Pim Techamuanvivit. The winner gets, like, $10,000 and a year-long Foodbuzz platform.

We're handicapping two S.F. bloggers as heavily weighted contenders (both have blogged for SFoodie): Jun Belen, and Stephanie Im. Read Belen's first entry ― a memoir of squirrels and pork adobo ― at Jun-Blog. Then get a taste of Im's irrepressible personality at Lick My Spoon.

Read. And vote ― but hurry: First-round voting ends tomorrow at 6 p.m.
