is set to open a second branch at 741 Valencia, the former New College building. The pitch: Same fusion-taco menu as the Marina restaurant, as well as a tequila bar (named Mosto
) and a spit for traditional tacos al pastor. In rather similar, but vaguer, news, Eater SF reports

passes on more information about Debi Cohn's forthcoming Mission bar, Asiento
(2730 21st St.), which should open in the old Monkey Club sometime mid-December. Cohn was the GM at Ramblas and has worked at Colibri and La Mar as well. The pitch: casual bar with tapas. Will it serve tequila as well? One hopes.
