  • Hi guys! Big news! I received word from their PR company yesterday that Field Roast vegan frankfurters will now be available at AT&T Park for this season's Giants games! I've had these dogs and they are super delicious. We are still waiting to hear if the hot dog buns are vegan--they always forget about the buns! But at worst, you can deep throat that sausage on its own. Best way to get on the jumbotron.
  • Now, we all know you shouldn't give bunnies as Easter gifts, but if you've been thinking of adopting a bun for yourself, Harvest Home is having an adoption event tomorrow! It's from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the East Bay SPCA at their Tri-Valley Adoption Center (4651 Gleason Dr. in Dublin). You can adopt cute buns like pretty lil' Flower here:

  • Remember I told you last week that some chickens raised for meat are fed arsenic? That's not all! Turns out, they are fed all kinds of fun stuff--from coffee to the active ingredient in Prozac. Add a little vodka and this closely resembles my own daily regimen.

  • If Jared Leto gets enough facebook likes on this post, he'll make vegan pancakes at a live show! Dreams do come true! My dream was actually Jordan Catalano covered in maple syrup but I like pancakes too. Just in a different way.

  • Are you missing marshmallow Peeps this time of year? Don't worry! Fork and Beans made the vegan version you see above! Aw, so adorbs. You can make some too and stuff your Peep-loving face. Stop looking at me like that, sugar bunny! I'm still going to eat you!
  • In other sweetness: Cinnaholic will be open on Easter from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be serving caramel confections from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. It's a one-time thing, so get over there!

  • Convert, a sustainably-minded shoe store, opened in Berkeley on Wednesday. They have an exclusive all-vegan line from Jeffrey Campbell. I'm into this "All Caps" number above. The collection is half hot, half cray. But those are often two sides of the same coin, am I right? At least with people, there's a direct correlation.
