SFoodie was on the scene when See's Candies earned the "World's Largest Lollipop" honors in the Guinness Book of World Records on July 20 in Justin Herman Plaza. Now, the West Coast candy giant is hauling out the impressive 16-foot, 7-inch confection for a few more public views.

It's currently on display at See's Candies flagship South San Francisco factory store until 4 p.m. today. This location carries the freshest product around; check out our rare private tour of the closed-to-the-public factory (210 El Camino Real at S. Spruce, South San Francisco; (650) 583-7307).

It then makes its way back to the city in time for the San Francisco 49ers pre-season game on Aug. 10 at Candlestick Park. You can catch it there on Aug. 12 as well during the second annual 49ers Fan Fest.

It probably goes without saying that free 'pops will be in abundance at each event.
