Did you say you're still feeling full from a full weekend under the big tent at SF Chefs and another spent eating at Outside Lands? We'll break out the "comfortable" pair of pants and start the diet and renewed enthusiasm for the gym next week, right after this weekend's fifth annual Street Food Fest.

San Francisco Night Market

Where: Alemany Farmer's Market location, 100 Alemany (at Peralta)

When: Fri., Aug. 16th, 6 p.m. - 10 p.m.

Cost: $35, food and drinks separate (though includes shuttle ride to event), tickets available online

Rundown: Get yourself warmed up for the fun on Saturday with a global street food market on Friday night. Six distinct street food styles will serve up themed eats and drinks. Each theme grouping of stalls will showcase food from a particular region while local bartenders mix up drinks to match the cuisine.

Look for bartenders Jon Gasparini and Greg Lindgren of Rye Bar mixing up Bourbon Smashes and Rock & Rye Toddies in the American South section to pair with your BBQ

Yanni Kehagiaras of Nopalito in the Latin American section, Neyah White mixing whiskey highballs among the Asian stalls, Reza Esmaili of Ananas representing in the Mediterranean & Africa, and Carlos Yturria of Gitane with Joe Cleaveland of Coqueta covering all of Europe with enough cocktails to keep everyone happy.

5th Annual Street Food Festival

Where: For a full map, click here

When: Sat., Aug. 17th, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Cost: Free admission, prepaid passports available online (with bonus drink tokens!)

Rundown: Saturday is the big event, and with multiple bars laid out along route, but make sure to stop by the one on 21st and Shotwell with food vendors and DJs onsite. With over 80 vendors offering three tiers of grub ($3 for small bites, $3 for a handmade drink, and $8 for a larger plate), you're bound to need a cocktail or two from Rye on the Road. Plus you're drinking (and eating) actually benefits La Cocina, and not just your dancing.
