The weather is warm, the sun is shining, and spring is in full swing. What better way to celebrate than with a cool sweet treat after an afternoon of shopping in Union Square? Bluestem Brasserie's "Rocky Road - Hokey Smoke!" dessert is almost too delicious to share.

Bluestem's upscale take on the classic rocky road is a collection of three chocolate ice cream-filled profiterole with a crumbly cookie crust. The puffs are drizzled in caramel and chocolate sauce, with dollops of vanilla marshmallow cream accenting the plate. Instead of the traditional almonds, the dessert features crushed walnuts that give a satisfying crunch.

Don't hesitate to dig in as soon as the Hokey Smoke! gets to your table. Even if you're somehow able to resist the incredible appearance, the creamy chocolate ice cream starts melting immediately, adding a pleasant cushion to the cookie pastry it sits on. You and a friend will scarf down one profiterole each, leaving the last one up for grabs. Don't try to split it -- trust us, sharing this rocky road rendition at all is charity enough.
