Exclusive ice cream and beer will make appearances at this year's Cultivate Festival hosted by Chipotle in Hellman Hollow on June 7.
Ben & Jerry's has collaborated with Chipotle to create a San Francisco-exclusive flavor called "Margarita Pie." It's a play on the traditional key lime pie with an adult twist: lime ice cream, shortbread pieces, and tequila marshmallow swirls.
This flavor will only be available to the first 1,000 who show up at the Ben & Jerry's tent.
Chipotle has also worked with Magnolia Brewery to create a Saison-style beer, called "Cultivate Farmhouse Ale." It's brewed with Maris Otter Barley, wheat malt, and malted rye.
For more tastes of San Francisco, the Artisans' Hall will house many local restaurants such as 4505 Meats, Ritual Coffee Roasters, CC Made, The Stroopie Gourmet, and Rancho Llano Seco. The Tasting Hall will also offer many local brews and wines, including 21st Amendment, Speakeasy, and the Naked Grape.
Both celebrity and local chefs will be featured at the festival for live demos. These chefs include Graham Elliot (Iron Chef, Top Chef Masters), Amanda Freitag (Chopped), Sarah and Evan Rich (Rich Table), Dennis Lee (Namu, Namu Gaji, Smokestack), Nick Balla and Courtney Burns (Bar Tartine), and Minh Tsai (Hodo Soy Beanery).
Music performances include Neon Trees, Andrew McMahon, Charli XCX, Smallpools, and American Authors, and DJ Christopher Golub.
Other than demos and music, festival-goers can attend any of the five exhibits and get the behind-the-scenes look at Chipotle. Willing participants can collect stamps at four of the five exhibits and will be rewarded with a free burrito, bowl, salad, or tacos, and a can of IZZE for their patience. Although it's up to you if it's worth it to have fast food propaganda stuffed in your ears, then washed down with a lukewarm burrito from a festival tent.
