Coffee in a can -- sure. Wine in a can -- desperate times call for desperate measures. But the combination?

Friends Fun Wine has concocted two canned, coffee-flavored wines for you to enjoy this summer, because why not, we guess?

Both the Cabernet Coffee Espresso and Chardonnay Coffee Cappuccino contain 6 percent alcohol and are packaged in "slim cans." According to Thrillist, the cans will be sold for $1.99 in 15 states.

Unfortunately (or not...), California is not one of the 15 but Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia are. Maybe your out-of-state friends could play guinea pig and let you know about the result.

The red mixes the flavors of "Cabernet grapes, espresso coffee, and a hint of chocolate," while the white "features Chardonnay grapes with vanilla cappuccino coffee, and smooth hints of chocolate."

So will the hybrid drink pair better with cheese or breakfast pastries? Is consumption during the day or night? Will Starbucks create their own line of coffee wine?

The idea sounds so off-putting that we have a feeling even It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Gang wouldn't want to try it.
