CurATE dinner series
When: Wednesdays through Saturdays, July 30-Aug. 30
Where: Hedge Gallery, 501 Pacific
Cost: $50 for the reception, wine, and canapés or $199 for the five-course tasting menu
The rundown: A new artist will be featured every week at this glamorous pop-up series. Dinner, backed by Quince’s Michael Tusk and team while the restaurant closes for remodel, will correspond thematically with the exhibits. As Tablehopper and 7x7 report, a menu of deconstructed shrimp cocktail, waldorf salad, spaghetti and meatballs, steak and eggs, and peach melba are paired with Anthony Meier’s “Deconstruction” exhibit.

Aug. 3 and 17, 4:30-8:30 p.m.
Where: Bocadillos, 710 Montgomery
Cost: A la carte
The rundown: Kelvin Castellanos of Bocadillos, Range, and State Bird Provisions brings his pop-up back to FiDi for two nights next month. Inspired by his El Salvadoran roots and Southern Californian upbringing, Castellanos will serve up chicken tamales, summer squash and manchego pupusas, pickled vegetables, and more in a “sunday supper style” night. Variations of the menu will be applied on the 17th.

Nudnik Foods
Every Wednesday from 5 p.m. until supplies last
Where: Linea Caffe, 3417 18th Street
Cost: A la carte
The rundown: Bringing modern twists to Isreali food to the Mission is chef Dena Ehrlich. Fried meat pies, vegan soups, and salads will be altered every week to make for delightful surprises. Date shakes will also be on the menu.

Ritual Coffee Roasters
When: Every day from now until their 1026 Valencia location is open again, 7 a.m.-2 p.m.
Where: Lost Weekend Video, 1034 Valencia
Cost: A la carte
The rundown: With its original place closed for major renovations, Ritual’s temporarily moved next door to keep the Mission caffeinated.
