Cha Cha Cha

2327 Mission (at 19th St.)
San Francisco, CA 94110
824-1502
Lively, informal neighborhood spot, sunny during the day, grungy at night, serving inexpensive tapas inspired by Caribbean (jerk chicken), Cuban (sautéed plantains), and Cajun-Creole (Cajun shrimp) cooking. Wash down the hearty, flavorful food with a pitcher of the popular sangria. No reservations, but turnover is brisk.

The Inside Word on Cha Cha Cha

went to lunch there with jmy bro and sis-in-law my first time in SF. Great food and atmosphere, and it was great to hit up Haight and Ashbury right after. Was a little small - that's my only complaint.

Loves the Sangria guarenteed good time!
  • jboitnott
Watch out for the Sangria. It tastes great but is possibly a little too easy to drink.
