Now no longer in the wiry hands of supermodel Christy Turlington (who once owned the place previously known as the Up & Down Club), Eight is yet another addition to the lounge scene taking over Folsom Street. Hip hop, soul, and house sounds dominate the dance floor, with an evenly mixed crowd of gay and straights trying to avoid the boisterousness of 1015 Folsom next door.
