The Elbo Room ain't the rock Valhalla it once was, but a bar and pinball machines downstairs and a low-priced music venue upstairs provide entertainment that varies between DJ nights and local bands ranging from hip-hop to punk to bluegrass to samba.

Overall:

This show was awesome! The elbo room is a wonderful venue for hip hop; the sound was great and it was a really large crowd for a monday night. Every one I have spoken with about the show had a great time. The artists were very unique as well. Nate Danger had a very dark and almost humorous set at times; his beats were grimy and his lyrics fast and witty; sort of a cross between bay area thug shit and east coast underground with a hint of death metal. Dan Millar was totally awesome and did sort of an old school hip-hop meets hard rock blues thing. And Justus bends was rad being his great self screaming fresh lyrics over hardcore almost glitchy hip-hop beats that make the crowd move and pay attention.
