The endless menu is standard Punjabi haute cuisine, but its execution is fit for a Mogul, with the authentic balance between bold, intrepid spicing and luscious refinement. Some standouts include the Bombay pakora (fried calamari, but the batter's made from chickpea flour), tandoori chicken (but skip the meats), creamy-dreamy murgh masala and saag paneer, peppery dal, and any of the fancy naans. Unfortunately, a less-benign aspect of authenticity is manifested in overpopulation and overcrowding, with jammed tiny tables crammed too tightly together. Reserve ahead and consider earplugs.
