Katia's Russian Tea Room

600 Fifth Ave. San Francisco, CA 94118 | Richmond (Inner) | 415-668-9292

Location Description:

At this romantic little restaurant, zakuski (appetizers) are the thing, a vast array of salads, spreads, and "bites" including good borscht and fine light blini (with salmon caviar, lox, and great smoky herring). All the expected Russian favorites are on offer, such as stroganoff, stuffed cabbage, and potato vareniki. Pelmeni (Russian "ravioli") are a comforting entree, and there are blinchiki (crepe wraps) for dessert or for lunch.
