Located at the back of the popular, booked-long-in-advance Slanted Door, Out the Door offers some of the main restaurant's signature dishes in takeout form, at lower prices. A variety of spring rolls, salads, noodle soups (pho), and rice and noodle items topped with lemongrass pork, chicken curry, or five-spice chicken are always available, as well as banh mi sandwiches, coffee and tea drinks, and desserts such as Vietnamese flan and Meyer lemon cheesecake. Enjoy your meal at Out the Door's tiny wooden counter or at one of the Ferry Building's outdoor tables, or have it packaged to take home.
