Nothing could be finer than sitting at one of Pier 23's big round patio tables on a sun-drenched afternoon, the whole sweep of the bay in front of you and an icy margarita at your elbow. Fried oysters, peel-and-eat prawns, cracked crab, and an excellent hamburger are the menu's mainstays, and daily specials might include cioppino, roast pork carnitas, a blackened snapper po' boy, or grilled swordfish with capers. Full bar with live jazz, blues, and reggae nightly.

Good place to drink on Sunday on the pier -
Right on the bay, Pier 23 is one of my favorite places to eat on a warm day. You can order beer by the buckets and their crab cakes are bomb! -
Go here on a nice summer night and take advantage of the huge outside deck. It is a great "dive" kind of bar with a spectacular view of the bay.
