You can eat at regular tables, or sit at low tables in a special room, to enjoy the well-cooked Afghan food in this nicely decorated, exotic storefront space. Try the tender, leek-stuffed ravioli called aushak (in vegetarian or meat-sauce-topped versions), the quabili pallow (pilaf made with shredded lamb shank), delicious vegetables such as borani kadoo (sautéed pumpkin) or borani badenjan (roasted eggplant). Don't miss the superb firni (rose-water-scented milky pudding).
