Speisekammer

2424 Lincoln (at Park)
Alameda, CA 94501
510-522-1300
Website
Affordable, delicious German food is the lure at this large yet gemütlich Alameda restaurant. We loved the lavish appetizer plate of sausages and cheese, the crunchy potato pancakes, the crisp herring sided with a salad of chopped apples and sliced onions dressed with sour cream, as well as the house-smoked pork chop and the veal schnitzel. Also serves Saturday and Sunday brunch at its wooden tables.
