Town Hall Restaurant

342 Howard (at Fremont)
San Francisco, CA 94105
415-908-3900
Website
Housed in a turn-of-the-century brick building in which ships’ engines were once built, Town Hall is an urbane, glamorous place whose setting feels like New England, while its American menu betrays certain New Orleans touches (Sazeracs and tasso among them). We loved the duck and the butterscotch and chocolate pot de crème, but the rest of the menu can be uneven.
