You'll think you're at a farmhouse restaurant in the Midwest instead of Albany when you sit down to one of Walker's multicourse prix fixe dinners, which include homemade soup of the day, salad (green or Jell-O), popovers, main courses such as fried chicken or prime rib with fresh vegetables and choice of potato, and a slice of homemade pie (more than 20 kinds available). The cooking is sincere, and the portions are generous. A little gem.
