The move from San Francisco to Berkeley has enlarged the space, lowered the prices, and focused the cooking at this deservedly popular, comfortable, urbane dinner-only establishment. The cuisine is light and elegant, but full of flavor. Signature dishes include the twice-baked goat cheese soufflé, an impeccable duck liver salad, and stews of lamb or chicken, but we've found you can't go wrong choosing anything on their menu.
