It’s always cool when forgotten things from the past resurface years later.
Such is the case with a new, unreleased 3-song demo that Green Day recorded in the early 1990s before the release of their legendary 1994 album, Dookie, Green Day Authority reports.
It is believed the recording sessions took place between 1992 and 1993, and the demo contains early versions of the songs “J.A.R.,” “Having a Blast,” and “Don’t Wanna Fall in Love.”
“J.A.R.” later made an appearance in the 1995 film Angus, and was included on the 2001 compilation International Superhits. “Having a Blast” was included on Dookie, and “Don’t Wanna Fall in Love” appeared on Green Day’s compilation album Shenanigans from 2002.
