Get ready because on Friday, January 27, Oakland singer Kehlani will (finally!) drop her debut album, SweetSexySavage. As its title suggests, this record will likely be filled with a range of songs, from slow-burning, sultry numbers to upbeat pop ditties and heartfelt ballads.

Since last summer, the 21-year-old has been surprising fans with single releases from the upcoming record, starting with the bass-heavy, echo-ridden track, “CRZY” in July. A few weeks later she dropped my personal favorite, “Distraction,” a smoldering, slightly R&B-tinged jam that features varying tempos and a squelchy synthline. And in December, she unveiled the album’s third single, “Advice,” on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show.

Now she’s shared the fourth single from SweetSexySavage, a bubbly, tropical-infused ditty called “Undercover.”

On Feb. 21, roughly a month after the album comes out, Kehlani will set off on a four month tour across the globe. She’ll be stopping in San Francisco to perform at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on June 17, the second-to-last day of her tour.
