Northern Nights Adds New Artists to its Lineup

Stefan Aronsen

In April, we learned that NoMBe, Living Legends, Cherub, Big Wild, Justin Jay’s Fantastic Voyage, and G Jones would be headlining this year’s Northern Nights Festival held in the Mendocino woods on July 14-16.

Now the festival has announced a slew of new acts who will be joining the lineup, along with eight daily yoga sessions and additional workshops on environmental awareness, sustainability, organic food, and massage therapy.

Here are the additional big names who will be making an appearance at this multi-faceted festival in the redwoods:

Jai Wolf: This mid-tempo, electronic producer and DJ makes melodic, dreamlike tunes that have attracted the attention of some of the biggest names in dance music, like Skrillex and Odesza. Catch him at the Emerald Triangle stage at this year’s Northern Nights.

Dirtwire: This eclectic Bay Area trio — comprised of David Satori (of Beats Antique), Evan Fraser (of the Dogon Lights and Bolo), and Mark Revely (of Jed and Lucia), is ready to make its Northern Nights debut. Expect a heady blend of world music, blues, and electronic music made from a cornucopia of exotic and foreign instruments.

Vijay & Sofia: This real-life couple makes tropical-house anthems and has remixed everyone from Daft Punk and Pharrell to Moby and Buena Vista Social Club. They’re making their first-ever appearance at a U.S. festival at this year’s Northern Nights and will be heating things up at the River Stage.

Moon Boots: Known for his underground disco and R&B tunes, Moon Boots will take listeners on an intergalactic journey with his set at the Emerald Triangle stage.

Falcons: Get ready to move your body to Los Angeles producer and DJ Falcon’s eclectic tunes, which blend hip-hop, R&B, and EDM. You’ll hear a combination of radio-ready songs and underground club anthems, and we dare you not to dance at his set.

Tickets for the three-day festival are now on sale, with general admission passes coming in at $229, and VIP at $329.
