Cabinet of Wonders is a traveling variety show featuring musicians, writers, and comedians that is organized and hosted by folk/pop singer-songwriter Wes Stace (formerly John Wesley Harding). It started as a regularly occurring event at New York City music venue (Le) Poisson Rouge in spring of 2009, and has since developed into an NPR podcast and touring show.

Self-described as “a little bit vaudeville,” this one-night event at the Jewish Community Center includes performances by legendary folk singer Joan Baez, Americana icon Langhorne Slim, the Bay Area’s Thao Nguyen (of the Get Down Stay Down), and Ryan Miller, the frontman of alternative rock band Guster. For a night of laughing, listening, and dancing, it doesn’t get much better than this.
