Remember the Trump chicken? Way back in March 2017, before we knew just how bad President Donald Trump’s behavior was going to get, a group of activists uncovered a massive supply of inflatable Trump chickens in a warehouse in Guangdong, China, made as an odd homage to the Year of the Rooster. They raised money online to bring several of the chickens to the United States, and they became a symbol of the Tax March and subsequent months.
Now, it appears another group is highlighting Trump’s blowhard nature — all the way across the pond in the U.K. A six-meter (nearly 20-foot) blow-up Trump baby balloon will fly over London when the U.S. president visits Prime Minister Theresa May on July 13. The balloon’s trip into airspace has won the approval of London’s mayor, Sadiq Khan, who was raised in a working-class Pakistani family before climbing the ranks and winning the mayoral election in 2016.
“The mayor supports the right to peaceful protest and understands that this can take many different forms,” a spokesperson for Khan said Thursday. “His city operations team have met with the organizers and have given them permission to use Parliament Square Garden as a grounding point for the blimp.”
Despite the neutral statement, which neatly sidesteps the controversial leader’s negative impact on the world, Khan has expressed his distaste for our president openly before, when a visit was planned back in January — but was later canceled over a risk of public protests:
Many Londoners have made it clear that Donald Trump is not welcome here while he is pursuing such a divisive agenda. It seems he’s finally got that message. pic.twitter.com/YD0ZHuWtr3

Balloon organizer Leo Murray told the BBC that the goal is to embarrass Trump. “When he visits the U.K. on Friday, we want to make sure he knows that all of Britain is looking down on him and laughing at him,” he said.
We can’t wait to see a photo of Trump stepping off the plane with a massive, bawling baby balloon bearing his reflection flying high above him. This thing already has international media outlets all over it, so prepare for a flood of images next Friday. In the meantime, stay tuned with the Trump Baby’s twitter account.
