The San Francisco Fire Department reports that a two-alarm grass fire near the 800 block of Ellsworth, just off Highway 280, has injured one person and is threatening several structures. People living nearby are being evacuated.

White smoke can be seen from blocks away, and SFFD is asking people to avoid the area.

Update, 12:30 p.m.: The SFFD states that they “have a good hold on this grass fire now.” It’s estimated to be two acres wide and has affected three buildings. The fire is apparently no longer a threat to any new structures, though the scene is still active.

Update, 12: 35 p.m.: The Fire Department states that the situation is now under control. Four homes were damaged by the blaze.
