San Francisco’s former First Lady Kimberly Guilfoyle has been many things in her storied career, from the successful prosecutor of an infamous dog mauling case, to the wife of Mayor Gavin Newsom for the first two years of his term, to the rumored replacement of Sean Spicer as White House press secretary, to now co-host of Fox News’ The Five. But Guilfoyle is suddenly notable for yet another reason — she is romantically involved with President Trump’s eldest son Don, Jr.
SF Weekly apologizes for any mental image that may have just popped into your head.
Reports that Donald Trump, Jr. is dating Kim Guilfoyle first surfaced Wednesday in the New York Post gossip section Page Six. They were spotted together Sunday at a luxury A-List cocktail party in New York City (you know, like real heartland Americans!). A probably-someone’s-publicist source tells Page Six, “Don Jr. and Kimberly are seeing each other, and are having a great time. While he wants to respect the privacy of his family, he is getting divorced, and he enjoys Kimberly’s company.”
We will note that Kim Guilfoyle is 49 years old, one year older than Melania Trump. That means Donald Trump, Jr. is banging a woman who is older than his own stepmother. Who knows, maybe that’s just normal in billionaire inheritee culture.
Regardless of how gross a person she’s fucking, Kimberly Guilfoyle is an entirely self-made woman of spectacular career success. A Mission District native who attended Mercy High School (where her mom taught Special Ed.), Guilfoyle rose from humble means to become a standout prosecutor in the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office. She returned home in 2000, and made headlines for winning a second-degree murder conviction for a dog mauling case that drew international attention.
She married babe-magnet Sup. Gavin Newsom, who would be elected mayor in 2003. The two divorced while he was in office (though well before Newsom’s infamous affair with his own campaign manager’s wife and his current run for Governor). Guilfoyle went on to prominent legal pundit gigs on Court TV, CNN, and now Fox News. She was rumored to be Sean Spicer’s replacement as White House press secretary, but the job went to Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
Don Jr., of course, is rebounding from his own current divorce in which the born-wealthy Trump is still going after his estranged wife’s inheritance and circulating rumors that she dated gang members in high school.
Guilfoyle no longer practices law. But hey, if you’re a Trump, dating Kim Guilfoyle could still mean one less prosecutor looking into your various crimes.
