Muni, Guayaki Yerba Mate Truck Collide On Castro Street


A Muni bus and a Guayaki Yerba Mate-branded truck collided on Castro and Beaver streets on Tuesday, during the evening rush hour.

The SFMTA tweeted about the accident at 5:35 p.m., stating that the 24 Divisadero was delayed in both directions due to a collision near the intersection.

According to the San Francisco Fire Department, nine people were injured in the collision, and have been transported to different hospitals across the city. They later updated the situation, stating that no life-threatening injuries had occurred.
