Now in its ninth year, the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival is a beloved San Francisco tradition: a free open-air celebration of American roots music in the broadest sense of the term. We're talking folk, blues, country, gospel, honky-tonk, rockabilly, rock 'n' roll, and the Kentuckiest bluegrass this side of the Mississippi.
