Steve Gullick​Yo La Tengo is one of those bands that fell into a deep slump for a number of years. After sparking the indie rock imagination early on, they released a number of predictable, zzzz-inducing records that made few waves and broke little new ground. I say all this as a set up to their new single, "Here to Fall," because the song is excellent, and I never would've guessed it came outta this group.
