Elvis Costello is celebrating the release of his new record, Secret, Profane & Sugarcane, by touring the greatest state in the nation--California--for one day. On Monday, June 22, he'll perform acoustic shows at two Amoeba locations. First he'll play and sign autographs at the Haight St. store at noon. Then he'll hit the road for an 8 p.m. performance down in Hollywood. Both sets will be acoustic, and Costello will be accompanied by Jim Lauderdale. I'd say the 22nd is the perfect day to take
