After the reunited '80s Butthole Surfers lineup (Gibby Haynes, Paul Leary, Jeff Pinkus, King Coffey and Teresa Taylor) played Austin back in September, the group is now targeting San Francisco for two nights of Texas-tweaked psychedelic punk. That same linup will ring out the end of 2008 with a two-night stand at the Fillmore (Dec. 30 and 31st), the first time the group has played the West Coast in seven years. -- Jennifer Maerz
