Good news for Bay Area metalheads: High on Fire just signed to Koch Records. The Oakland trio is now in the process of writing their next album due in 2009 that will be released by the aforementioned juggernaut of an indie label. High on Fire joins an ecclectic label roster that puts them alongside fellow Oakland artist Keak Da Sneak, fellow metal dudes Hatebreed, and fellow songbird of a generation Carole King.
