Crash of the Titans

Crammed into the druggy Tee Pee Records roster — home to Witch, High on Fire, the Warlocks, and Graveyard — Brooklyn's aptly titled Titan whips up hulking, 10-minute rollercoaster anthems that display more scope and clarity than your typical stoner rock act. Sure there's a wicked crunch and a smoky instrumental sprawl to Titan's ambitious debut, A Raining Sun of Light and Love, for You and You and You, but the album's prog-psych mix follows in the footsteps of prime Led Zeppelin material.
