Previously home to Jezebel's Joint (surely the world's only goth dive bar?), this small space was taken over in 2005 by the owners of Polk Gulch's Club Rendezvous, who cleaned it up a little, queered it up a lot, renamed it the Deco Lounge, and brought their hella-cheeky hustler vibe to Little Saigon. Now the gilded little Art Deco venue hosts a wide variety of gay events, including retro dance nights, drag shows, weekly amateur strip contests, and more. There's also a game room in the back, just in case the front room entertainment doesn't cause a stirring in your loins.

  • San Francisco Street Food Festival 2014
The San Francisco Street Food Festival was another success this year. Dozens of vendors with original, unheard-of creations, such as deep fried mac and cheese on a stick, black pea paste pancakes, and Korean quesadillas. Then there was the comfort foods we've grown accustomed to, like creme bruleé, shrimp rolls, and pound cake. Photographs by Mabel Jimenez.
  • Paul McCartney @ Candlestick Park
Thursday, August 15th marks the last concert at Candlestick Park. Who better to close out the venue than Sir Paul McCartney. Photographs by Sugarwolf.
