For the first part of her career, Germany's Hanin Elias established herself as something of an anti-Nazi sex symbol for the electronic music world. She was the most palatable part of the ear-bleeding Berlin techno-punk act Atari Teenage Riot, and ran her own label, Fatal Recordings, for several years. After a seven-year break from recording music, Elias released her third solo album, Get It Back, this summer, led by politically charged, industrial-thumping single "Future Noir." She's not exactly looking at the world through rose-colored glasses, but her metronomic musings still manage an uplifting edge.
