Last week, Mayor Gavin Newsom unveiled his 2010-2011 budget for the City of San Francisco. What were some of the surprises?

• He unveiled it at the Luggage Store

• In 2011, for the first time, real treasure will be buried on Treasure Island

• Revenue estimates work only if at least 70 homeless people start biotech firms, pay taxes

• Ambitious plan moves the whole city to Fairfield, where rents are cheaper

• Mayor's office adds two new staff members to not return calls

• Cuts to city planners' porn budget

• Muni will now pay for 311, 411, 911, and Newsom's iPhone

• Funding for the opera will be cut unless Rigoletto is finally given vengeance against the duke of Mantua

• Newsom talked about it for fewer than seven hours

• Social services in the Tenderloin will be paid for by putting a swear jar out at city meetings

• After seven years of Newsom fighting with the lefty majority over the same set of programs, we're all pleasantly numb
