SF Weekly is looking for arts writers

Posted By on Thu, Jun 21, 2007 at 2:19 PM

So you love pop culture (music, theater, visual art, dance, multi-media combos of all of the above)? And you love writing (have clips, keep a blog, have plenty of opinions and not enough places to print them)? And you keep up on the arts both locally and on the national level?

SF Weekly is looking for freelance arts writers to round out our talent pool. We’re currently recruiting freelancers interested in writing for our blog, calendar section, and music section; writers skilled with the show review, the show preview, the CD review, the artist profile, and the think piece. Extra bonus if you have a way with humorous essays that are actually funny.

If you fit the above description, please send a cover letter, resume, and clips of your work to: Freelance Arts Writers, SF Weekly, 185 Berry St., Ste. 3800, San Francisco, CA 94107. No phone calls please.
