Death Cab for Cutie Announces Spring Dates Including the Fillmore 4/23

I'm stoked to announce that Death Cab for Cutie will embark on a Spring tour to promote their new album Narrow Stairs, which hits stores (and web stores) May 13th. They only have a few dates in the works right now, but I'm sure many more are on the way. The new album was produced by band member Chris Walla. On their website bassist Nick Harmer says, “I hope this album is a bit of a surprise for those out there that think they have us all figured out. We can’t wait to share these songs with the world." I have big dreams for this album -- and about Ben Gibbard (naked).

4/19/08 McDonald Theatre in Eugene, OR*

4/21/08 Van Duzer Theatre - Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA*

4/22/08 Freeborn Hall - UC Davis in Davis, CA*

4/23/08 The Fillmore in San Francisco, CA*

4/24/08 The Joint - Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, NV w/ Tegan and Sara

*with the Cave Singers

Then they go on to play Coachella and Bonnaroo.

Presale tickets are available to DCFC Fan Club members today and Fillmore tickets go on sale 10 am March 2 (probably through Live Nation). - Melissa Baron
