The Sundance Channel has signed Elvis Costello to host his own television show. Titled, "Spectacle: Elvis Costello With ...," Elvis will sit down with someone of cool importance for conversations and performances. Kind of like Jon Favreau's "Dinner for Five," only with one person and no dinner. Maybe they should go on each other's show and ask each other why Sundance and IFC are the exact same channel. -- ASD Staff Report

The San Francisco Street Food Festival was another success this year. Dozens of vendors with original, unheard-of creations, such as deep fried mac and cheese on a stick, black pea paste pancakes, and Korean quesadillas. Then there was the comfort foods we've grown accustomed to, like creme bruleé, shrimp rolls, and pound cake. Photographs by Mabel Jimenez.
