Wanna get your video noticed? Follow the current San Francisco trend and get some naked dudes in the mix.

On the heels of local popsters Girls'  headline-grabbing clip featuring flesh of the male and female variety, alt country kids Or, the Whale have a new video where a bearded dude heads into the woods and strips off all his clothing. The clip, for the gorgeous song "Rusty Gold," is decidedly different in tone than Girls' "Lust For Life" hipster orgy. Here, both the song and the imagary is more introverted, the lyrics reflecting on the death of a beloved dog, and later a brother, as a man walks through the woods and towards a river baptism.

The actual money shot here is short, and artfully blurs the naughty bits, so the skin show here seems more about naked feelings than shocking details. But, like "Lust For Life," it's a great tune that hopefully can use the NSFW buzz to generate genuine attention. I love the earthy, Neil Young vibe going on here, along with the story of hoping to meet back up with the loved ones, animal and otherwise, that you've lost along the way.

Director Michael Jeter shot a pretty, very cinematic video for "Rusty Gold," but if you're  not in a place where you can safely look at a naked guy, you can also listen to the song here.

The evening’s highlights included John Fishman and his iconic vacuum cleaner solo and favorites such as Chalk Dust Torture, Slave to the Traffic Light, Axilla, Rift, 2001 Space Odyssey, and Maze. The show also featured Phish’s debut of a, seemingly impromptu, version of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” to with roaring approval of the, singing along, crowd. With Game 6 being tonight, partying Phish fans will join Giants fans in Civic Center Plaza where there will be a World Series viewing party on a large screen set up by the City.
