This is the sound of "panic attack rap," of "Internet thug rap," of Das Racist, the duo of mad geniuses behind "Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell." This time the Brooklyn dudes are lost in space, hitting White Castle, American Apparel, and the psychedelic side of their minds, as the screen flashes their Technicolor silhouettes. Their wordy, hallucinatory hip-hop style goes well with the visual mish-mash in the video for this song, "Rainbow in the Dark." The group (barely) hides its naughty bits behind its musical equipment, but the insanity inherent in their rhymes is laid bare here. Enjoy.
