San Francisco takes great advantage of the big holidays--and big holiday weekends--to get down, and this one is no exception. Depending on your current love life situation, you'll either be stoked or cringing when it comes to all the Valentine's-themed club nights this weekend. For today's Weekend Party Preview, we've tracked down the best pre-V-Day offerings to get wrecked at, paving the way for the perfect Feb. 14th: laying in bed all day watching Grey's Anatomy.

Friday, Feb. 12

What: Beats in Space w/ TBD (ex-members of !!!), Anthony Mansfield, and Derrick Love
Where: Triple Crown
When: 9 p.m. - 3 a.m.
Why: After shedding the confines of his multiple disco-influenced dance bands (namely Outhud and !!!), Justin Vandervolgen was on the lookout to start a new musical endeavor. He met Rong Music artist Lee Douglas and the duo hatched the enigmatically titled TBD. Now the NY production duo will bring its intergalactic, disco-inspired house tunes, with native SF producers/DJs Anthony Mansfield and Derrick Love sharing the music duties, for a night of slow-burning and spaced-out dance music.

What: Bump! w/ Lowclub, Sarah Delush, Kirin Rider, and more
Where: Underground SF
When: 10 p.m. - 2 a.m.
Why: Underground SF stands as one of the seedier, more anything-goes establishments in the Lower Haight, and that's only part of its charm. The rest comes from the various dance parties the bar hosts. One such event, the electro-loving Bump!, will be egging you on to keep it dirty on the dancefloor with the bootybass-toting, hyperactive Lowclub, and resident party-starters Sarah Delush, Kirin Rider, and Mario Muse.
