José González is a really private guy. That's why it's a bit surprising that the half-Swedish, half-Argentinian singer-songwriter agreed to have an entire documentary filmed about him while working on his second album, 2007's In Our Nature. The Extraordinary Ordinary Life of José González is making its US premiere at the Noise Pop festival next week, and website Nowness has a pleasing video preview for us all to check out.

From the looks of it, this film will be worth seeing for the cinematography alone. The preview is full of beautiful shot after beautiful shot. It looks like we'll get to see González performing live, hanging out backstage, and on the road, among other things. Plus, you have to love the animated short at the end, where a fully-bearded, baby José emerges from a vagina. Really, how can you miss seeing that on a big screen?
