The traffic jam exploding out of the Coliseum Tuesday night for the massive U2 concert was so bad that some people didn't make it inside -- at all.

We told you. We weren't just being complainy music writers. It was awful.

So bad, in fact, that some steamed U2 fans are considering a lawsuit if they don't get a refund, KTVU reports.

The sold-out show drew nearly 70,000 people, some of whom apparently spent five hours trying to get into the Coliseum. It didn't help things that the entire parking lot was full by the time U2 went on -- even with a $40 per car charge.

"We were actually tempted to turn around a couple times and just call it a day, but it was U2 we didn't want to miss it," said Geoff Flint, one frustrated U2 concert goer.

Some did turn around and gave up. Others just saw the last few songs of the U2's set.

"When we got to the concert and people were actually filing in as late as 11:30 at night."

So what's next for those who didn't get all the "Pride" they paid for? It could be the legal system:

Attorney Patrick Mussad said the people who missed the concert deserve at least a refund.

"The next step is to, after I gather the information, make a nice friendly phone call to the managers of the venue, the Oakland Coliseum, and see if they amicably want to work something out. If not, then we will have to go through legal channels," Mussad said

Lesson for next time: Take Bart. Really. (That goes for us, too.)
