Who's your baseball bobblehead collection missing?
Well, how about Bill Graham, the legendary and controversial S.F. concert promoter and music executive?
If you're scratching your head right now, don't worry. We kinda are, too. But you will really have a chance to snag a Bill Graham bobblehead -- and pay tribute to the legacy of one of the central figures in the storied Bay Area music scene -- this Friday, when the S.F. Giants celebrate Bill Graham Tribute Night at their game against the New York Mets.
The event is a benefit for the Bill Graham Memorial Foundation, which makes grants to local nonprofits in fields as diverse as urban gardening and music education.
There are two ways to get that Bill Graham bobblehead you now surely desire: Snag VIP tickets for $250, which include a seat in the Legends Club box, free catered food and drinks, and of course the bobblehead itself. Or you can get a (presumably lower-priced) "special event" ticket, which gives you a seat in the Bill Graham Tribute section and the bobblehead. Go here for tickets.
The first pitch on Friday is at 7:15 p.m. After that, you may have lost your chance for a Bill Graham bobblehead forever.
