Sure, the grunge era produced its fair share of long-haired, flannel-loving, Converse-wearing male beefcake. But early '90s rock also made famous a bunch of strong-minded, talented -- and really, really sexy -- female rockers. As Nirvana's Nevermind turns 20 this week, and Pearl Jam celebrates two decades years of being a band, we think it's time to look back at the top 10 hottest women in grunge.

11. D'arcy Wretzky, Smashing Pumpkins
Billy Corgan might not have been much to look at, but the Smashing Pumpkins still presented eye candy for connoisseurs of both the male and female forms. Guitarist James Iha sure was pretty, but was he prettier than bassist D'arcy Wretzky? Debatable. (Bonus fact: Wretzky now lives in a small town in Michigan, and earlier this year, she was arrested twice: once for for letting her horses wild, and a second time for driving drunk. And as a mugshot sadly proved, any good looks she had are now pretty much gone.)
10. Courtney Love
Whatever you think of what she's done in the last 20 years, there can be no denying that when grunge was at its peak, the then-Hole singer was close to the top of hers aesthetically. Look at those big eyes, straw-colored locks, and doll face, and try to tell us that Kurt Cobain didn't do pretty well for himself (at least in the looks department).
