On Friday, Brick and Mortar Music Hall will present a Halloween show that we're truly excited about. Naturally, it consists of some of our favorite local artists -- Nobunny and Ty Segall among them -- but given the time of the year, there's a twist: the bands will be playing (and, we hope, looking) like greats from the long-gone days of garage and punk. Check it out: Nobunny will play as glam icons New York Dolls. Ty Segall will get to be Detroit revivalists the Gories. Apache will play Ohio madmen the Dead Boys. Uzi Rash will be Irish power-pop heroes the Undertones. And New York's Zulus will perform as the Stooges. If you want more than "general awesomeness" as an idea of what to expect from this, hit the jump.

... because it should be a good time this Friday.
